Mechanical Fitters (Outage Work)

17th August - 30th August (Travel 16th August / Return 31st August)

We are currently recruiting 2 x Mechanical Fitters and 2 x General Operatives for a planned engineering outage at a major industrial site in Markinch, Fife.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced mechanical personnel to work on a short-term shutdown with attractive overtime rates.

Mechanical Scope

Successful candidates will support the removal, overhaul, and reassembly of a range of rotating equipment, including:

• Gearboxes
• Screw conveyors
• Conveyors
• Drive shafts
• Associated mechanical equipment

Requirements

Mechanical Fitters

• Proven mechanical fitting experience within industrial environments
• Experience working on rotating equipment
• Ability to work from engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude

Essential

• Valid CCNSG Safety Passport
• Confined Space certification desirable (basic online training can be provided if required)

Pay Rates

• First 39 Hours: £23.23 per hour
• Over 39 Hours: £31.36 per hour
• First 4 Hours Saturday: £31.36 per hour
• Saturday Afternoon & Sunday: £40.65 per hour
