Heavy CNC Machinist - Backshift

💷 £17.41 per hour
⏰ Overtime Paid at £26.11 per hour

ES Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist / CNC Operative to join one of our large engineering Companies on a backshift basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing structural steel company with long-term stability, overtime opportunities and modern CNC machinery.

🕒 Shift Pattern
Monday to Thursday: 2:30PM - 11:30PM
Friday: 2:30PM - 8:30PM

🔩 Duties Include:

• Operating CNC machinery within a heavy steel environment
• Working with Voortman, Kaltenbach and Peddinghaus machinery
• Loading and unloading heavy steel components
• Using overhead cranes to safely lift and move heavy parts
• Monitoring machine performance and maintaining production standards
• Following workshop health & safety procedures

✅ Experience Required:

• Previous CNC machining / operating experience
• Experience within structural steel or heavy engineering environments
• Crane experience preferred
• Experience with Voortman, Kaltenbach or Peddinghaus machinery advantageous
