Assembly Fitter

Location: Bacup (relocating to Rawtenstall in the near future)
Hours: Four-day working week (Monday to Thursday) 6am - 5pm
Hourly Rate: £13.09ph
Additional Info: Overtime available on Fridays paid at time and a half

ES Recruit are currently recruiting for Assembly Fitters to join an established business, currently based in Bacup and moving to Rawtenstall in the near future. The role involves bench assembly work using hand tools and pneumatic drills to build specialist trailer dollies for the aviation industry. This is a full-time position working a four-day week in a clean, well-equipped workshop, with the chance of a permanent contract after a successful temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out bench assembly of components using hand tools and pneumatic equipment
• Build trailer dolly units to specification following technical instructions
• Conduct quality checks to ensure completed work meets required standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Follow all health and safety procedures and wear provided PPE at all times
